A Requiem for Homestuck
So I finished this yesterday after working on it for 7 hrs off and on. Because the idea was bugging me and god I needed to get it out before I went into finals week for school. To be honest, the idea has been floating around to do this for a long, lone time. Heck making videos for multiple fandoms have plagued my imagination every time I listen to this song. So once I figured out how to do video editing with the software I have I knew I’d get there sooner or later. And finally after figuring out how to use the flashes and video mov files this dream has come to realization. So please let me know if the effort I put into this was worth it.
Under section 107, the fair use of a copyrighted work is not copyright infringement, even if such use technically violates section 106. While fair use explicitly applies to use of copyrighted work for criticism, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, or research purposes, the defense is not limited to these areas.
On additional note: The work used in each part of this video belongs to their respectful creators. Whether it be the original artist, Andrew Hussie who made homestuck and flashes within it or the music which belongs to its rightful owners. I am making no profit from this and have made this video under Section 107JENNY THIS IS FLAWLESS OMG
Literally perfect.
Breath. Light. Time. Space.
Years ago, four kids lived in a state of peace. But on April 13th, 2009, a universe creating game was put into motion. Only these players that risked their life and limb could tilt the scale of fate, however, anarchist Jack Noir corrupted the chances of success.
It’s been a long time coming and we’ve come across awesome heroes, many strong in their own right. Albeit these noble advocates have unparalleled powers, their worst foe is awakening in the throes of darkness. But somehow, they will be the saviors of the waking world.
The goal is simple - we thank Hussie for everything he’s done for us. For all the updates, all the people he’s met, everything he’s had to deal with - for making Homestuck. He made something far bigger than he could have imagined. I think it’s time we thanked him.
Everyone who reblogs this will have their URL added to a text file. At the end of April it will be emailed to him along explaining that these are all the people who want to personally thank him for what he does.
